MEMBERSHIP
 
Membership in the Organization shall be by individual affiliation with a Group. A Group consists of the members residing and/or working in the territorial jurisdiction of the group as determined by the National Board of Directors.

TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP.             

They are categorized as follows:

2.1       REGULAR MEMBERSHIP IN THE GROUP.   A    regular    member    is    a

bonafide member who is a holder or potential holder of a radio station license

 

and can provide for his personal use the specific type of radio transceiver set as prescribed by the National Board of Directors and/or the NTC for his/her operational activities.

2.2       LIFE MEMBERSHIP.        Any person who has distinguished by meritorious services in the furtherance of the ideals of the organization may be elect ed to Honorary Membership by the national Boar of Directors for a period of one year, unless the Board under exceptional and/or meritorious cases, grants said candidate Honorary Membership of life; if nominated and elected by the Regional or Group Board, such election shall be subject to confirmation by he National Board.

2.3       HONORARY MEMBERSHIP.      Any person who has distinguished himself by meritorious services in the furtherance of the ideals of the Organization may be elected to Honorary Membership by the National Board of Directors for a period of one (1) year, unless the Board ,under exceptional and/or meritorious cases  ,grants  said  candidate  Honorary  Membership  for  life;  if nominated and elected by the Regional or Group Board ,such election shall be subject to confirmation by the National Board.

2.4        INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP.         Any  institution  that  can  extend  to the Organization any assistance in the pursuit of the latter’s goals and objectives may be admitted as member through a group upon approval the National  Board  of  Directors;  Provided,  that  such  membership  shall  be extended only to five (5) representatives of the institution concerned, subject, however, to the requirements on admission as provided for in the By-Laws.

 
APPLICATION
 

Applications for the organization of new groups shall be forwarded to the national president, through the regional board which shall, within thirty (30) days thereafter, forward the same together with the report of its recommendation, as referred to in Chapter III, Article II, Section 1.2 of the constitution and By-Laws, to the National Board of Directors which may grant or deny the application.
